X – "Ten" – is the ten year anniversary compilation released by NOOX in October 2025. The label, born by accident, accidentally celebrates ten years of music and serving artists. X reunites some of the musicians that have made the history of NOOX – from some its most frequent collaborators to its most recent new joiners.
The music, is a musical slideshow of what makes NOOX; composed and improvised, acoustic and electronic, traditional and modern.
The artwork, designed by Dougie Harley, illustrates the intentions of NOOX – to move, together, as a community of artists.
For Doug Thomas, its founder, X is a way to say thank you; thank you to its artists and thank you to its listeners.
