“It takes a long time to become young…”

 

Reflecting on this Picasso quote, and inspired by the spontaneity of my daughter Alice’s drawings; the Picasso series is an attempt at finding the inner-child in the artist, free of judgement and intentions of correction or perfection. Like the Blind Lines project, it is drawn with eyes closed in order to prioritise chance over intention.

 

Picasso is a fully digital project, created in London, using an iPhone and an iPad. Its five pieces have been created in under a week.
