FERYANTO

Feryanto is an Italian-Indonesian pianist and composer whose musical journey began at the age of three. He studied piano with Maria Rezzo and Paolo Prever, completed his Composition studies at the Turin Conservatory, and earned his piano degree with Anna Maria Bordin at the Pavia Conservatory.

At the age of six, he won his first competition in Stresa, taking the first prize in his category. In the following years, he participated in various Italian and international competitions, winning fifty absolute first prizes both as a soloist and in a piano duo with Elisabetta Pitotto.

In 1994-1995, he took part in an orchestral conducting masterclass in Lugano, invited by Richard Schumacher. During the 1995-1996 period, he began an intensive concert career as a soloist, performing in Switzerland, Italy, and Indonesia (his native country).

Since 2009, he has been the artistic director and piano teacher at the Musicavanguardia School of Music in Rivoli.

In 2007, he recorded, as a solo pianist, part of Ezio Bosso’s soundtrack for The Sweet and the Bitter, a film by Andrea Porporati.

His discography includes We Are Infinite in 2019, (Ai), For Prepared Piano in 2021 (Blue Spiral Records), and Together We Sow the Seed of Yesterday (2025, NOOX).

Since 2022, Feryanto has been the pianist of the Zerø Piano Trio, a chamber ensemble dedicated to performing and preserving the music of Ezio Bosso. The trio also includes violinist Giacomo Agazzini and cellist Claudia Ravetto, both of whom were long-time collaborators of Bosso and featured in many of his recordings and live performances.
