I left Paris — where I was born and raised — for London, fourteen years ago. Two years after I moved, London was hosting the 2012 Olympics. If I have been far from my home city for all these years — and feel like I belong to two places now — Paris is Paris — and is forever in my heart!

 

Hence why I wanted to take the opportunity at the beginning of a moment which will be all eyes on the City of Lights, to contribute, in my own little way, to paying tribute to this wonderful place. So I decided to do an arrangement of “La Marseillaise” — no one really looked at it for so many years, right?
