Affan is a London-based composer who embraces improvisation both as a creative process and as a source of inspiration.

 

Origins is a re-release of his EP, originally released in 2018 on the label, Lonely Swallow. It marked his first exploration into modern classical piano; a collection of six impromptus that reflect his improvisational creative process, the exploration of melody and harmony, and the natural sounds of the piano.
