​

“Cave” is a piece for solo piano written in the spring of 2020 by the Swedish musician Christian Wannerwall. In his words, it illustrates the behaviour of the world during the spread of the COVID-19: hiding inside, in caves. There is both a sense of naivety and romanticism. 

To me this piece is very interesting as it takes many unexpected turns and shapes. There is indeed an ingeniosity that translates a certain form of honesty. It is, although quite short, very rich in musical ideas.

“Cave” is also a milestone for me, as it marks my first take on a piece as a performer, and it also develops the catalog of NoOx with the addition of a new artist.
