Tommy Berre is a Norwegian guitarist and composer whose music sits between ambient and new age. Salvador—his latest single released on June 1st, 2018—is a piece for solo guitar and a prime example of Berre’s current musical style.

 

Salvador is structured around two contrasting melody-based sections—a relaxing introductive part and an uplifting following section. The piece strikes by its simplicity and lyricality, as well as a smoothness and elegance of movement. A great addition to any lover of solo guitar à la Dominic Miller.
